Harvest Moon - Women's Gathering

Join me at the Mechanic House for the September edition of Ode, Bitch, Boast - Women's Gathering. We will meet in circle for a round of OBB and meet outside by the fire for anyone wishing participate in fire ritual.

Thursday Sept 19th, 2019

CIRCLE STARTS AT 8:15PM. Arrive any time after 7:30. Event ends around 10:30

This year, the September full Moon is called the Harvest Moon. Unlike other full Moon names, which are specific to their respective months, the Harvest Moon is tied to an astronomical event: the autumnal equinox. The full Moon that falls nearest to the equinox (September 22) takes on the name “Harvest Moon,” rather than its traditional name. (This means that a Harvest Moon could occur in either September or October.)

The Harvest Moon provides the most light at the time when it’s needed most—to complete the harvest!

Ode, Bitch, Boast, is the creation of Charlene Freedom. I am honoured to be able to facilitate these sessions and support women in my community. Thank you, Charlene Freedom, for the use of your sacred circle.

Please only RSVP if you are committed to attending. Space is limited to 12 persons. Event is open to any and all self identifying as female or with the feminine.

Please bring a snack to share and dress for the weather. I also accept love donations, to assist in off setting some of my costs.
